It turned out that his military issued boots had started coming apart, letting sand in to eat up his socks and feet. I contacted P.W. Minor and ordered a pair of your Patriot Boots.

Within a week the boots were on their way to Afghanistan. My son had just gotten off of a long mission for a day of rest when he received the Patriot Boots. His feet were sore and blistered after two days of non-stop activity in 140 degree weather. He put on a fresh pair of socks and then slipped on the boots. "The boots (Patriots) are the most comfortable boots I have ever had on my feet. They are awesome", were his words. The next morning he was off into the desert mountains of Afghanistan wearing his P.W.Minor Patriot Boots.

On behalf of my son, SSgt Joshua Gutowski, 82nd AirBorne I would like to say thank you for a product that has afforded me peace of mind regarding my son's feet. Your product and the service that you provide truly is "Awesome".

Sincerely,
Matthew Gutowski, PA, CPed

My German grandfather ran a bakery. One of my earliest memories is of baking with my mom and siblings and bringing cakes and pies and bread to people who couldn't get out. After falling off a roof in 1992, I was left with severely limited motion in my feet. My ankles are full of steel rods. When I could stand and try to walk, all my shoes kept breaking in half. The minute I put on the first pair of Xtra Depth shoes, I felt like Superman. Now I bake and bring goodies to the people who take care of me. Everyone knows when Jerry is visiting. My baked goods are popular, and I like making others smile.

iabetes is on both sides of my family. It was almost inevitable. My surgeries are constant, and living in the country provides me with the opportunity to get away – I love the peace and quiet and the beauty all around me. My 93 year-old neighbor walks up the road every summer day to pick a pear from our neighbor's tree. I wave to her, but someday I am going to walk up that country road and pick pears with her. Someday very soon.

I highly recommend their shoes, especially for people who don't want to live with pain.

The songs started over grief. When cancer took the life of my nephew, Austin, just short of his second birthday, the grief was overwhelming. The grief jump-started the songs – lyrics and melodies just started to pop into my head, and I couldn't get rid of them. So, I began writing them down and singing. I began working with a prominent Nashville producer earlier this year and went to Nashville to record an album. Since I stand on my feet all day at work I can only wear P.W. Minor shoes, and I couldn't imagine standing all day in a recording studio with anything else. My husband jokes that I wore my "blue suede shoes" to the studio in Nashville. Well, what else would you wear to Nashville? I am grateful for Austin's gift to me – the gift of music. I sing about things that deeply touch my life and in turn Austin is able to touch the lives of so many others.

I'd like to encourage you to continue this line to make it available in more styles. I wear a 5 1/2 W, but I'm not even 30 yet, and as a teacher of teenage students, I'd like to stay somewhat trendy, but comfortable. It is almost impossible to find trendy shoes in my size that offer the comfort I need due to other foot issues. Please continue to create shoes that I'm not embarrassed to shop for, much less wear.

Plantar fasciitis? I didn't know what it was – what I did know was the pain. I was headed to Europe for three weeks, and a European vacation and pain don't go together. A friend brought over a pair of Xtra Depth shoes – I've owned many pair since then. I make things with my hands, and I always appreciate true craftsmanship. To me life is about learning. Life has so much to offer, and if you're not learning something new, you're not living.

If possible, I found these Leisure’s even more comfortable than the other five pair. I have various colors of brown, taupe, maroon, and blue. Unfortunately, you discontinued your red shoes the year I bought my first pair, but I still remember seeing them.

A very satisfied customer, Anna from Tooele, Utah

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1972. Some days, there is just a little pain, and other days are bad. For me there is only one way to live life - and that is to serve others. I send cards to people who can't get out or are having a hard time. I teach Sunday School to young teens. It's important to be there to teach and to listen. It's only through serving others that pain diminishes.

Actually, severely limiting would be the most apt description.

Since I'm on my feet a good bit of the day, and given the orthotics I must wear, I had resigned myself to wearing nothing but sneakers because of the cushioning soles and the fact that they comfortably accommodate my orthotics. This concession to function over any sense of fashion didn't present any serious problems until my youngest son announced he was engaged and I thought I had only two options for the wedding – comfy but very unfashionable sneakers or a lovely pair of shoes that would have me wincing all day long. I never thought there could be an alternative until I found a pair of your wonderful shoes! The mother of the groom enjoyed looking very stylish in a pair of classic (and very classy looking!) black Sophisticates that were so comfortable I would have sworn I was wearing my sneakers! I know to some folks this would sound pretty silly, but anyone who has difficulty finding a pair of shoes that look and feel great will be able to understand when I tell you that your wonderful shoes really made a special day more special.

Of course, that was just the start – my beautiful black Sophisticate shoes have now been joined by an equally comfortable pair of brown Sophisticate shoes! I know there will be more.

Again, many thanks for your beautifully looking and very comfortable shoes. You have a customer for life!

People inherit all kinds of things. My family has bad feet. My sister has been in custom orthotics for years. I am doing everything I can to save my feet for as long as I possibly can. I have four pair of P.W. Minor shoes, and I wear them all. When you work for a not-for-profit organization, you have to do a little of everything. This is not a place for "that's not my job" attitude. I also have two small children, and keeping up with them is no easy task. There is no reason why comfort and fashion can't find a home right here on my feet.

I used to spend twice this much on shoes that didn't feel half this good. I have arthritis in my toes and have had two knees done. It's a big step in life to admit that you can't wear the shoes you've always worn. My husband, Tom, and I are both retired teachers, and we enjoyed the years we taught school. We feel as if we've missed out on seeing the world, and we are making up for that time. We've recently returned from Spain… next stop: Russia.
